I’mBack!

Hello my friends! It has been a while, but I am back! I’ve taken some time to get some things done, wander around on the path of life a bit… then this big mountain popped up in my path right before my very eyes. I started to climb it and kept tripping and tumbling down. But then friends and loved ones showed up out of nowhere; and with their help, we have knocked it down and moved my mountains! My life was saved because of these people! I could not feel more blessed! So what have I been up to lately?…

Well, I am continuing my eurythmy education. I took some fantastic classes and learned so much. Read some amazing books… I am continuing down my learning path as planned. But something amazing happened! A dear friend of mine started an online school where I now teach! The school is an online homeschool called Seasons of Seven, and I teach Eurythmy Inspired Movement! So my love for eurythmy and my pursuit of learning has not stopped. Life just got extremely busy for a moment, and I needed to slow down to be able to breathe. But I am back with a bang and can’t wait to share what I’ve learned. Like I’ve said before, I am not a certified eurythmy teacher. Yet I have learned so much, and I want to help others on their path of learning. I am here to help guide. I want to help! So please reach out to me anytime!

When I first started on this eurythmy journey, I was new to Waldorf Education and knew that I was going to homeschool my children, but “what was this eurythmy business anyway?” Why was it not included in any of the homeschooling curriculum? And if it was, there was not much explanation; no depth to it. It was still confusing. Why was eurythmy so taboo in homeschooling? So I started researching. Everywhere I turned I was told “You can’t do eurythmy at home.” Or “You need a certified teacher to teach it to your children.” Why? Will I ruin their lives forever?!

I challenge anyone to tell me I can’t do something! I am as stubborn as the day is long and I surely will find a way! The further I dug, the more I learned, and the more I wanted to share. I started sharing it with my own children. Then my homeschool co-op learned of what I was doing and wanted me to share it with their children. I was more than willing. Just as Steiner taught the first eurythmists to take what they learn as they learn it, and apply it to teaching the children eurythmy, so did I. Next thing I know, I was talking about my journey at conferences, hired as a eurythmy-inspired movement teacher, and helping other homeschoolers get started with their journeys!

My angels were definitely by my side. I slowed down to breathe, but also to listen. What did they have to say? “Show me angels, what is meant for me!” I took the path I was meant to take. Doors and windows were flung open for me and I gladly stepped through them.

I guess my take from the last few years that I want to share with you is this: don’t be afraid. Don’t ever be afraid. Fear dims your faith. You are meant to be here. No matter what your religious belief, whether it is God, or Buddha, or Mother Earth… you have come from something great. You are meant to be something great. You are brought to life in this existence at this time for a purpose and a reason. Period. I believe that for every single soul I come in contact with. So don’t be afraid. Move forward holding on to faith in that… faith in the fact that you are greatness, waiting for combustion on this planet. And when you finally erupt, everyone around you will notice. But before that, we must be quiet. We must make our hearts calm and our souls be still. Listen. What do your angels need to tell you. Where are the stars trying to send you? Quietly let them take you by the arm and lead you. Even if the path seems dark, just move forward with faith. You’ve got this. You can do hard things. Your time to shine will come if it has not already.
